Roxy Theatre Group

Help a child find their voice and a place to belong.

At The Roxy Theatre Group, young people discover what they can do through dance, theatre, and voice. They learn to step forward, express themselves, work together, and keep going when something is difficult. Along the way, they build friendships, connect with mentors, and experience the confidence that comes from being part of something they helped create.

Founded in 2002, ROXY is a Miami-Dade 501(c)(3) nonprofit celebrating its 25th season of enriching children’s lives through the performing arts. Our programs primarily serve ages 3–17, welcoming young people with different abilities, backgrounds, and levels of experience. Our mission places special emphasis on reaching underserved children and expanding access to arts education.

Through year-round classes, after-school programs, summer camps, and fully staged productions, students put their learning into practice. From their first classroom exercise to a musical, recital, or community outreach performance, they experience the rewards of preparation, collaboration, and creative expression.

The growth continues beyond the stage. Students practice speaking with confidence, listening to others, accepting feedback, and following through on commitments. Whether they pursue the arts or take another path, these experiences help prepare them for school, work, and life.
