Give Miami Day is an online fundraising event for over 1,400 nonprofits in Greater Miami. It's an opportunity for every person to play a role in shaping a Greater Miami that we are proud to call home. Serving as financial fuel for over 1,400 nonprofits, this community-wide event is The Miami Foundation’s largest annual initiative to help build a thriving Greater Miami. 

Give Miami Day helps make the vital work of nonprofits possible by providing them with fundraising training and support, increased visibility in our community, and a fundraising platform, at no cost to them. With 100% of the donations received being unrestricted, this day is the biggest fundraiser of the year for hundreds of nonprofits, enabling them to have the resources necessary to flexibly meet the needs of our community. 

Each year, Give Miami Day serves as a testament to the boundless generosity that resides within the hearts of Miami’s residents. It is a day when everyone comes together across all lines of difference to strengthen Miami, and it is a day where every person can be a changemaker. 

The Give Miami 5K Race

The Give Miami 5K Race takes place in Downtown Miami on the Sunday before Give Miami Day, November 15. This isn't just any 5K, participating in this race means 100% of your registration fees will be donated to the nonprofit or Issue Area of your choice.

Registration for the race opens in August.

The Give Miami Festival

The Give Miami Festival serves as both a community celebration and a post-race after-party on November 15. The festival showcases interactive issue area booths, local food & drink vendors, great music, and post-race amenities. It's a party for good!

The festival is free for anyone to attend.

Mission Control

We host a special event bringing nonprofits, donors, and volunteers together for a day of connection, celebration, and impact. On November 19 we provide countless amenities for nonprofits (like a podcast studio) as well as volunteer stations, food, and fun for everyone.
