Miami Rescue Mission Inc (a 501 c 3 agency) is one of the oldest and largest providers of emergency human services in the south Florida community serving the community for over 100 years. With centers in Miami and Broward Counties, our mission was established in 1922 and has supported the community through the Great Depression, World War II, and beyond. Founded on Judeo-Christian principles, we serve all people without regard to ethnicity or religious beliefs.

We focus on assisting some of the most economically and socially disenfranchised individuals and families, who often face challenges such as poverty, unemployment, addiction, domestic violence, chronic or mental health issues, lack of education, and financial hardship.

Our services begin with the basic necessities such as meals, shelter, showers, hygiene items, clothing, and other vital resources. We also offer transformative Regeneration programs, including:

• Computerized adult education classes
• Mental health counseling
• Individual case management
• Budgeting and life skills training
• Soft job skill development

We provide a safe haven for women and children fleeing domestic violence and abuse, offering hope, stability, and support. Additionally, we host street and drive-thru outreach events throughout the year, serving over 10,000 individuals annually.

The Caring Place also assists clients in accessing safe, affordable housing, including housing units we own for those who might otherwise fall through the cracks.

Our mission is to demonstrate God’s love in practical ways, helping individuals recognize their God-given purpose and empowering them to pursue a path of hope, restoration, and independence.
