The Caring Place @ Miami Rescue Mission’s Volunteer Focus Group, REACH, is made up of dedicated volunteers and donors who help us provide essential education and resources to formerly homeless men in our programs. Through our Jeffrey A. Tew Education Center, we offer writing, reading, and math instruction, computer literacy, career readiness training, preparation for higher education, and other skills that empower our residents to REACH their God-given potential.
Achieving higher levels of education equips our residents with the tools they need to transition out of homelessness and into stable employment and housing.
This Give Miami Day, our goal is to raise $6,000 to sponsor five learning stations. We currently operate 35 stations, and each one costs $1,200 per year to maintain.
Please consider helping us reach our $6,000 goal today to support five Education Learning Stations.
