Mika Santo for STYX The Company

My name is Mika Santo, and I am the Director of STYX The Company, alongside Brianna Campbell. My passion for dance is what brought me here — it’s been the driving force behind everything I do and the foundation of my purpose as an artist and leader. Since STYX was founded in 2022, I’ve watched it grow from an idea into a thriving community of dancers who are bold, expressive, and deeply committed to creating meaningful art.

From the start, I’ve always seen myself as a leader and someone who wants to build opportunities for artists right here in South Florida. STYX has become a space where creativity and collaboration meet — where dancers can take risks, find their voice, and share it with the world.

Directing this company has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Every rehearsal, performance, and project reminds me why I started — to cultivate a community that values artistry, connection, and authenticity.
