Kendall Supporting PPFL Give Miami Day 2025

Planned Parenthood of Florida is participating in The Miami Foundation’s Give Miami Day for their 13th year. This 24-hour online fundraising event offers a match for donations, meaning your support can make an even bigger impact!  

As we know, this past year PPFL has experienced highs and lows in their efforts to ensure access to affordable sexual and reproductive health care for Floridians.  

Lawmakers continue to strip away our essential rights and access to care:

• Abortion banned after 6 weeks of pregnancy in Florida, forcing many to travel as far as North Carolina, Virginia, New York, or New Jersey for care.
• Gender-affirming care is under attack
• Medicaid patients blocked from using their insurance at Planned Parenthood health centers.
• Abortion medication faces an escalating national threat.

Our community deserves better!

Despite these obstacles, PPFL has remained steadfast in their dedication to providing essential care and support to Floridians, ensuring all Floridians have access to the health services they need. PPFL served a record number of patients, with more than 138,083 visits to their health centers and telehealth appointments. They also saw an increased demand for contraception and STI testing and expanded their services, introducing care for sexual dysfunction, syphilis treatment, infertility testing and treatment, and vasectomy services.
