When I first came to Gang Alternative, Inc. as a participant — searching for guidance, structure, and hope. What I found was so much more than a program; I found a community that believed in me before I even believed in myself. Today, I have the privilege of serving as a therapist here, helping youth and families experience the same transformation that once changed my own life.

At GA, I’ve witnessed real miracles — children learning to trust again, parents rebuilding bonds that once felt broken, and families discovering the healing power of open conversation and faith. It’s one thing to teach coping skills, but it’s another to watch a child smile again after months of silence, or to see a caregiver and teen laugh together after a season of conflict. That’s what healing looks like in our community — and it happens here every single day.
