“Give for Health Justice, Heal Miami!

The Florida Health Justice Project (FHJP) is a nonprofit organization that works to make sure everyone in Florida—especially those who are most vulnerable—can access quality, affordable health care. FHJP fights for health equity by using research, policy advocacy, legal action, community education, and outreach to help people who are uninsured, low-income, or facing barriers to care. The team also helps those who have lost Medicaid or are struggling with changes in the health system.

As the team social worker and Community Health Specialist (and Miami-Dade resident), I work directly with people in our community, identifying barriers they face in getting health care and helping to solve those problems. I listen to those who are affected, bring their stories to life, and works on projects and campaigns that improve access to care for all Floridians.

When you donate to FHJP, you are supporting work that protects health rights, expands Medicaid coverage, and gives a voice to people who need help the most. Every donation helps fund legal support, education, and outreach, making sure families don’t lose coverage and helping to build a more equitable and healthy future for everyone in Miami and throughout all Florida.
