I’m very excited to be a Champion for Project Disco Ball this Give Miami Day! Project Disco Ball is a non-profit that brings joy, hope, and light to cancer patients at Miami Cancer Institute. We decorate infusion rooms, deliver gift bags, and help make treatment days brighter.

Here’s why I’m passionate about supporting Project Disco Ball:

Cancer treatment is scary, exhausting, and emotional. I watched my mom go through it, and I saw how even the smallest spark of joy can make a huge difference in her day, especially when she was going through chemotherapy.

Project Disco Ball was created when a breast cancer survivor brought a literal disco ball to her chemo infusion. That tiny moment of fun and light inspired an entire movement. Today, our organization brings decorations, positivity, and encouragement directly to patients who need it, one disco ball at a time.

Project Disco Ball is the only non-profit in Miami that focuses specifically on bringing joy into the infusion rooms themselves, not just raising money for research, but bringing emotional support, hope, and community to patients right where they sit during treatment.
