At Project Disco Ball, our mission is to bring joy to cancer patients through the magic of disco balls and festive decorations during the holiday season at the Miami Cancer Institute, brightening their treatment experience.

As breast cancer survivors, we know firsthand how overwhelming and isolating it can be to spend hours in an infusion room. We felt the need to transform that environment, turning it from the saddest, most frightening place into a space filled with light, laughter, and hope.

Our journey began when we started bringing disco balls to our weekly treatments. The immediate, uplifting effect on our spirits—and the positive impact it had on those around us—was profound. And so, Project Disco Ball was born.

Our goal is to create moments of joy for those facing the challenges of cancer treatment by decorating infusion rooms with disco balls and holiday decor. We also provide gift bags filled with chemo comfort essentials to help brighten each patient’s day during their infusion.

This year, we’re excited to decorate the Miami Cancer Institute’s Infusion Floor for the holidays, and we need your support to make it happen. Together, let’s bring light, joy, and a touch of sparkle to those who need it most.

Mission

Our mission at Project Disco Ball is to transform the infusion experience for cancer patients by bringing joy, light, and comfort into treatment rooms, and supoort patient wellness initiatives like cold capping and oncofertility, one disco ball at a time. We aim to uplift patients’ spirits through the power of positivity, decorating spaces with disco balls and festive decor, and providing gift bags filled with chemo comfort essentials. We believe that even in the toughest moments, small acts of joy can make a big difference in the healing journey.
