$250 covers a full semester of live, small-group Virtual EMPOWER tutoring for one student who couldn't otherwise afford it.
Virtual EMPOWER brings standards-aligned Middle School Science, Biology, and Chemistry tutoring directly into students' homes, year-round, open to families across Miami-Dade and Broward. Middle School sessions are priced at $27.50 each to keep the program sustainable, and Biology runs $40, real costs that cover a paid subject-matter instructor, curriculum, and the platform it runs on.
Not every family can pay that. A sliding-scale scholarship seat, funded by gifts like this one, means a student's access to tutoring never comes down to what their family can afford.
