Expanding French Classroom Libraries

Books are at the heart of learning and are the key to building strong language skills. For over 35 years, the French International Program Association (FIPA) has partnered with parents, teachers, and Miami-Dade County Public Schools to give children the gift of bilingual education.

This year, on Give Miami Day 2025, one of our core fundraising goals is to expand every classroom’s French library. 

Our goal is to fill these libraries with engaging, age-appropriate titles that spark curiosity, imagination, and a love of reading.

By donating, you are investing in the resources (books, supplies, materials) that help bilingual education flourish.

Every gift—large or small—has a direct impact, and all donations are welcome! The levels below are just suggestions to show what your support can accomplish and how it directly impacts the Library.

Participation Levels:

• The Reader ($25): Buys 2 new French books for a classroom library.
• The Resource Builder ($100): Supports the purchase of classroom resources and multiple books.
• The Library Developer ($250): Funds the acquisition of a small collection of books and reading materials.
• The Literacy Partner ($500+): Provides a major investment in French classroom libraries.
