The "One Big Beautiful Bill" and Congress's failure to extend the ACA tax credits are going to lead to over 3 million people being uninsured in FL! Florida Health Justice Project advocates for healthcare access and health equity, provides legal support and advice, and creates systems change through litigation. We serve the most vulnerable people in our state - low-income children and families who need access to healthcare. Many of them are immigrants and people of color. Our advocacy has led to policy wins that have benefited hundreds of thousands of people including seniors, former foster kids, new moms, and their children. When I was 9 years old, my mother had to wait almost a year to have surgery because we were uninsured. I remember being terrified of losing her because she couldn't get care. No child should have to worry about losing their mother because they cannot afford healthcare. This is why this work is so important to me. Please make a small donation to support FHJP and those we serve today.
