Basics for Growing Up Strong!

Every child deserves a strong foundation. At Basic Needs Miami, we believe that helping to ensure that the basic needs of children are met  ie food, clothing, and other essentials is the first step toward healthy growth, learning, and opportunity.

Through Basics for Growing Up Strong, we provide:

• Baby Basics – diapers, wipes, formula, and infant essentials that help parents care for their little ones with dignity.
• Food Support – our Basics Bags of shelf-stable groceries are distributed directly to families through trusted schools and other providers, making sure children have what they need to stay nourished and focused on learning.
• School Support  – uniforms, hygiene kits, and other supplies that reduce barriers so kids can attend school ready and confident.

We partner directly with schools and other service providers because they are safe, trusted places where families already go. By placing support where families are, we remove the stigma and obstacles that often come with seeking help.

What Your Gift Provides:

• $25 = One Basics Bag of groceries for a family
• $50 = A Baby Basics bundle (diapers, wipes, formula, infant care essentials)
• $100 = Uniform + hygiene kit for 5 students
• $250 = Food & essentials for 10 families through schools
• $500 = Full month of Basics for Growing Up Strong support across programs
