South Dade Summer Resource Fair!

In spring 2027, Basic Needs Miami will bring families together with summer camps, enrichment programs, sports, arts, STEM opportunities, health and wellness resources, and community services all in one place and before the school year ends.

With support from The Children’s Trust, the South Dade Summer Resource Fair will be a free family event designed to help parents discover programs, connect directly with providers, explore available resources, and begin planning for summer early.

But we want to do more than host a resource fair.

We want families to leave connected, informed and better prepared for summer.

Your Give Miami Day gift will help Basic Needs Miami expand the reach and impact of the event by supporting:

• More summer and community resource partners
• Our Basic Needs Village, connecting families with food, essentials and support
• Family resources and event materials
• Outreach to families throughout South Dade
• A welcoming, accessible event that remains free for families

Help us make Summer Starts Here a place where South Dade families can discover what’s possible for their children — and find the resources to help make it happen.
