The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology is dedicated to improving human health through groundbreaking science. Located in Jupiter, Florida, the institute is both a hub for innovation in South Florida and a vital part of the University of Florida’s academic health center. Our researchers are working on some of today’s most pressing medical challenges, including cancer, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, diabetes and infectious diseases. With 38 lead scientists and more than 300 research staff, postdoctoral scientists and technicians, the institute brings together experts in chemistry, biology, molecular medicine and neuroscience to create new medicines and therapies.
