Help a Child Thrive: Sponsor a Summer Treatment Program Scholarship!

Mental health treatment for children facing behavioral, emotional, and learning challenges is expensive, and unfortunately, many families who would benefit from our summer programs simply can't afford the full cost of care.

Your gift will go towards sponsoring a child’s participation in one of the comprehensive Summer Treatment Programs at the FIU Center for Children and Families, which provides approximately 360 hours of intensive therapy in just eight weeks. This is equivalent to seven years' worth of weekly one-hour therapy sessions.

With your support, we can reach our goal of $2,500 to bridge the gap for families in need, ensuring that children get the support they deserve to thrive. With your help, we can continue to offer this invaluable treatment to those who need it most, empowering children to overcome their challenges and succeed in school and life.

We offer three transformative summer programs that help hundreds of families each year:

· Summer Treatment Program (STP) for elementary children (ages 6-12), is a nationally acclaimed, comprehensive 8-week camp for children with ADHD and related behavioral, emotional and learning challenges.

· STP Pre-K offers a similar therapeutic summer camp program and comprehensive school readiness preparation for children entering Kindergarten with behavioral, emotional, and learning challenges.

· Summer Academy in Liberty City, adapted from STP Pre-K, focuses on helping pre-kindergarteners living in the Liberty City community overcome significant learning and behavioral needs, academic shortfalls, and prepares them for a successful transition to kindergarten and beyond.
