Help a Child Thrive: Sponsor a Summer Treatment Program Scholarship!

For children facing behavioral, emotional, and learning challenges, access to quality mental health treatment can make all the difference. Yet, for many families, the cost is simply out of reach. The cost for one child to attend one of our nationally recognized Summer Treatment Programs (STP) is nearly $5,000—and unfortunately, insurance doesn’t cover it.

STP is a comprehensive, seven-week program that delivers the equivalent of six years of weekly one-hour therapy sessions condensed into one transformative summer. Children learn to manage emotions, improve behavior, and build social skills through structured activities, academic support, and daily coaching.

Every gift, no matter the size, goes directly toward scholarships and camp activities—bridging the gap for families who otherwise could not access this care.

Thanks to last year’s Give Miami Day donations, children like Santiago and Victoria experienced a summer that changed everything. With scholarships, both were able to attend our Summer Treatment Program, receiving the care and evidence-based therapy they needed—while their parents learned strategies to create lasting positive change at home.

Your gift isn’t just a donation—it’s a turning point for a child, a family, and their future.

 Our Summer Programs Change Lives:

  • Summer Treatment Program (STP): For children ages 6–12 with ADHD and related challenges.
  • STP-K: A comprehensive school readiness program for children transitioning to and from kindergarten.
  • Summer Academy in Liberty City: Focused on preparing pre-kindergarteners with significant learning and behavioral needs for a successful start in school.

Every dollar makes an impact. Your donation helps cover scholarships for children and families, as well as operational costs that make these transformative programs possible.

Donate today and give a child the chance to thrive. Together, we can open doors to brighter futures.

“Homework could take hours,” Santiago's mother shared. “Even the smallest tasks felt like battles—bedtime, brushing teeth, you name it. Everything was a struggle...This summer has changed Santiago—and it’s changed us as a family,” his mom said. “Now he’s walking into the new school year with confidence, ready for a fresh start.”

"Victoria used to struggle with poor behavior, hyperactivity, and daily frustrations. Now, she responds the first time she’s called, understands what a timeout is, and the change has been remarkable.” — Victoria’s mom
