$12,050 goal

The most profound barrier facing South Florida is not a lack of jobs—it’s the confidence gap. Consider the older adult population or those excluded from the digital sphere. Many come to us with deep-seated apprehension toward demanding programs like Culinary Arts, Green Carpentry, green energy, food safety, or Robotics.

This is where our comprehensive pipeline—built over the last three years—intervenes. Our successful cohort graduation, combined with positive advocacy, confirms that the infrastructure for lasting economic change has been successfully built. We are now ready to scale that success.

We partner with veteran adult educators who specialize in using innovative techniques, including Virtual Reality (VR), to dissolve this lack of confidence. The VR training provides a safe, repeatable environment for rapid skilling that dramatically reduces the initial intimidation factor. The result is tangible: VR learners are successfully graduating, ready for in-demand, high-pay positions 400% faster. Our platform is actively co-designed by our industry partners, and our foundation is validated by our key partnership with Promising People, the only VR skilled-trades solution available offline.

The Pilot Project: Investing in the Learning Area & Services

This campaign seeks to fund and implement the "Triangle de Cuisson" Pilot Project Learning Area. This pilot focuses on the physical and virtual infrastructure required to certify 20 adults and youth in the Green Pathways Workforce Bundle by December 2026, covering both Career (Google Certificate) and Trade Education (Construction, Culinary Arts, etc.).

The Learning Area & Services Portal

The Learning Area encompasses all our services—in-person, virtual, and VR. Currently, all our learning services are managed through separated administrative platforms. To enhance the quality of services and reinforce our learners' informed choice capability, we need a unique Integrated Portal.

For our first cohort of 20 students, this portal will be the single point of access, facilitating equitable learning through services including:

  • Career Training: Access to Career Certificate Scholarships with Google and Coursera (up to 20 available).

  • Trade Education: Registration and fee waivers for Virtual Reality Curricula (Promising People, related to the Triangle of Cuisson) and referrals/vouchers for in-person Master Gardener training and apprenticeship.

  • Support & Placement: Access to Work-Based Learning Experience or apprenticeship at partners’ workplaces, Employment services, Job exploration, and our Stronger in Duos Literacy Circle activities.

The portal's development will begin with an online catalog to facilitate easy access to all learning opportunities, scholarships, informational events, and application forms.

Visibility for Supporters: A dedicated section in the portal will be developed for our supporters, donors, and employers for rapid access to tracking progress on learning, work-based learning, and Career Camp experiences by those receiving funding through the Resource Center.

Investment Goal: $12,050 to Launch the Pilot

We seek $12,050 to fund the Learning Services Pilot through December 2026. This vital funding ensures the necessary infrastructure and direct training support are in place.

This budget explicitly includes the cost of:

  • Funding for the essential VR infrastructure (headsets, computers, software licenses), and the tuition fees for the students in the core Green Pathways Bundle ($9,500).

  • Digital Integration ($1,000): To develop the online administrative Services Portal (Plan 5).

  • Membership development, targeting 10 members ($500).

  • $1,050 to support the tuition and certification fees for 3 Master Gardeners.

Your support accelerates our mission, ensuring learners have the stability and cutting-edge tools they need to succeed.
