Maria Claudia

For 30 years, Miami residents and community leaders have worked together to build a more just, livable, and joyful Miami. Catalyst Miami has been proud to work alongside them—connecting people to resources, strengthening grassroots leadership, and helping catalyze collective action.

Each year, thousands of Miami-Dade residents take part in Catalyst Miami’s free programs, services, leadership development, and community initiatives. From financial coaching and small business support to climate resilience, advocacy, and grassroots leadership, this work helps people meet immediate needs while building the power to change the systems that affect their lives. The Miami Climate Alliance is a coalition of 200+ individuals and organizations creating climate solutions. Founded in 2015, they became a subsidiary of Catalyst Miami in 2025.

This Give Miami Day, I’m championing Catalyst Miami as we celebrate 30 years of community power. Join me in helping keep these programs and services free and carry this work into the next 30 years.
