Anaruth for Catalyst Miami

Hi everyone! I want to share a little about myself and why this work means so much to me. I joined Catalyst Miami six years ago seeking a complete career change. While politics has always had my heart, I knew there was more we could do to improve our systems and uplift the quality of life in our communities. Through Catalyst, I’ve not only developed my leadership skills but also built meaningful, long-lasting relationships with community members and elected officials.

Catalyst Miami has always embraced the belief that organizing isn’t just about numbers—it’s about people. From the beginning, our mission has been to meet the immediate needs of our neighbors while empowering them to engage in civic life, tell their stories, and make their voices heard.

Thanks to fundraisers like this one, my program—Catalyst to the Capital—continues to grow. With your support, we’re able to train community members, travel to Tallahassee, and advocate for policies that reflect the realities of everyday people. We show up, we speak up, and we make sure the voices of those who can’t make the eight-hour trip north are still heard.
