As a team member that recently started my time with the Alliance for LGBTQ Youth, I am very proud to be part of this incredible organization. Every day I am able to see the impact of our work in the lives of LGBTQ+ youth and their families. I have no doubt that this organization is truly making a difference in the Miami community and will continue to do so for years to come.

I purposely sought out a position at Alliance for LGBTQ Youth due to its dedication to the LGBTQ+ youth of Miami. The Alliance provides free counseling services in addition to care coordination services for LGBTQ+ youth in addition to advocacy and leadership development programs. This attention and care for youth inspires me as an LGBTQ+ adult who had little representation, much less in-school advocacy and access to mental health care. I am able to work for a present and a future that ensures that LGBTQ+ have the resources I did not have while affirming their identity.
