I started volunteering with Urban Paradise Guild years ago at Oleta River State Park in South Florida. From the very beginning, what drew me to UPG was how action-driven this organization is. They don’t just talk about caring for our environment they show up, they plan, they work, and they get results.
That’s why I’m so committed to supporting UPG’s efforts to protect one of the last thriving nearshore reef in Miami. This reef is a natural treasure, and UPG is taking the important steps needed to preserve it, study it, and ensure that people can safely access and enjoy its beauty for generations to come.
For me, UPG is more than a nonprofit. It’s a community of people who believe in protecting the places we love. It’s an organization that actually does the work and does it well. That’s why I’m proud to serve as Chair of the Board of Directors and why I’m fundraising to sustain and expand this mission.
