$1,000 fully funds one entire STEM Empower workshop, instructor pay, lab materials, safety equipment, take-home kits, and space, for up to 20 students and their families, roughly 40 people, in a single session.
STEM Empower is our flagship hands-on workshop series: 27 labs, 85 guided activities, and 163 rotating stations across Life Science & Biology, Physical Science & Engineering, and Earth & Space Science. Every session is free or low-cost for the families who attend, because we believe access to hands-on science shouldn't depend on what a family can pay.
This is the single biggest lever a donor can pull on this campaign: one gift, one entire workshop, up to 20 students, plus the family members who come with them, who get to build, experiment, and walk away a little more confident than they came in.
