I’m an educator, and my relationship with Urban Paradise Guild goes back to the very beginning of my Montessori teaching career. UPG was one of the first organizations I worked with, and it helped shape the way I teach, the way I see nature, and the way I support my community. 

Since then, I’ve continued volunteering—creating education programs, designing curriculum, and helping during community projects whenever I can. Growing up in South Florida, I’ve always believed in protecting the unique ecosystems that make our home so special. Any chance I get, I bring my students and my family outdoors to experience the beauty, the calm, and the curiosity that nature inspires.

One of my favorite parts of this journey has been seeing how much students’ lives are enriched when we bridge the natural world with education. Watching them light up as they connect what they learn in the classroom with the environment around them has been incredibly rewarding.
