Efren Rojas - Clinician

I deeply believe that representation and affirmation can be life-changing. Growing up as a queer person, I did not always have access to visible, supportive, or affirming spaces where I could see myself reflected with pride and possibility. It wasn’t until I entered young adulthood that I encountered mentors and communities who made me feel seen, valued, and capable of thriving as my authentic self. That experience fuels my commitment to being the support and presence I once needed.

In my work, I strive to create a therapeutic environment where LGBTQ+ youth feel understood, validated, and empowered to embrace who they are. Representation matters, not only in media or leadership, but in the spaces where healing and growth occur. I want the young queer people I work with to know that they are not alone, that their stories matter, and that their future can be filled with joy, success, and belonging.

Ultimately, I do this work to help build a world where future generations of queer youth can see themselves in positions of power, influence, and prosperity, where being themselves is not a source of fear, but of pride. Every session is an act of advocacy and hope, and I am honored to contribute to the resilience and flourishing of LGBTQ+ youth.
