At Prosperity Social & Community Development Group, Inc. (PSCDG), we are passionately committed to empowering underserved communities across Miami-Dade County. Since our founding in 2010 by social worker and community advocate Nadege Vilsaint, PSCDG has grown from a vision into a thriving nonprofit dedicated to creating lasting, positive change for youth, families, and individuals facing social and economic challenges.

Over the past 14 years, we have expanded our reach and impact, providing vital programs and services that nurture education, mental health, job readiness, and community wellness. What began as a small after-school program serving 10 students now supports over 400 young people annually, offering academic tutoring, mentoring, career planning, mental health counseling, and family engagement. Our holistic approach addresses not just education but the whole child and family unit ensuring long-term success and resilience.

Our diverse programs include:

• SHINE BRIGHT Afterschool & Summer Camp: Academic support and enrichment for elementary and middle school students, including STEM, arts, and social skills development.

• “Let’s Talk” Mental Health: Individual and family counseling to support emotional well-being and academic success.

• R.Y.I.P. (Re-entry Youth Intervention Program): Support for system-involved youth through education, counseling, and social services.

• A & A Swimming Institute: Swim lessons to reduce drowning incidents among youth, taught by certified instructors.

• S.A.R.A. (Substance Abuse Reduction Alliance): Prevention programs targeting substance use among youth.

• Youth & Family Resource Department: Assistance with benefits, career services, medical referrals, and housing support.

Our commitment extends beyond programming we are active in community outreach and host impactful events such as our annual Women’s Day of Wellness, holiday drives, and health and wellness campaigns that touch thousands of lives each year.

Our Impact Speaks Volumes:

• Over 14,000 youth served across programs

• Nearly 14,000 adults supported with mental health, case management, and employment services

• More than 970 families received counseling and social support

• Hundreds of students gain scholarships, job placements, and skills that empower them for life

As we look to the future, PSCDG aims to deepen our community presence and broaden our services including expanding housing support, apprenticeships, workforce training, GED prep, and enhanced mental health care while reaching new communities across South Florida.
