When a domestic worker faces exploitation, she cannot wait. Your donation allows us to act immediately, providing emergency response, legal support, education, accompaniment, and the foundation to rebuild a dignified life.
Every contribution helps break the cycle of exploitation. Thank you for transforming fear into knowledge, trauma into power, and isolation into community.
We are The Right to Freedom Network, a grassroots organization founded by survivors of labor trafficking and domestic workers who have faced exploitation firsthand. Our mission is to empower those who are often invisible—domestic workers in South Florida, many of whom are immigrants or vulnerable to labor trafficking.
At The Right to Freedom Network, we believe in the power of education, advocacy, and community to break the cycle of exploitation. Domestic workers face some of the most challenging conditions, often trapped in abusive situations without knowing their rights or having access to support. We are committed to changing that reality.
Our Vision is to create a world where every domestic worker has the knowledge, tools, and support to stand up for their rights, earn fair wages, and live free from fear. Through targeted workshops, legal advocacy, and ongoing community outreach, we aim to build a stronger, more just future where no worker is left behind.
Our history is one of resilience and collective strength. Born out of a need to support our own community, we have united to provide the resources and support that domestic workers need to fight for their rights. Over time, we’ve built partnerships with legal experts, community leaders, and law enforcement to intervene in cases of labor trafficking and ensure justice for the workers we serve.
The power of your gift
$25 → emergency food and transportation for a worker in crisis
$50 → a prepaid phone so a survivor can communicate safely
$100 → the first 48 hours of support after escaping exploitation
$250 → a full intervention for a labor trafficking case
$500 → a full scholarship for our EducaNanny training program
Average cost of a rescue: $250–$400
Weekly cost to support a compañera in detention: $150–$200
On Give Miami Day, we are asking for your support to continue our mission. Your donations will help us expand our outreach, offer critical education and advocacy services, and protect those most vulnerable to exploitation. Every contribution ensures that more domestic workers will have the opportunity to learn about their rights, recover stolen wages, and build safer, more dignified lives.
Together, we can create a future where every domestic worker is seen, heard, and supported.
Our Mission
We are survivors and domestic workers who founded The Right to Freedom Network to protect and empower women who are too often invisible, the ones who clean, care, and keep our communities alive.
Our mission is to end labor trafficking and exploitation by giving domestic workers the tools, knowledge, and community they need to stand up for their rights, recover their stolen wages, and live free from fear.
Through education, advocacy, and healing, we’re transforming survival into strength, and building a South Florida where every woman can live and work with dignity.
