Historically, Yoga 4 Change programming was 100% in-person and in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to shift 70% of our programming to a virtual platform. The pandemic offered our organization an opportunity to adapt our business model to expand our reach to impact a greater number of individuals in the community. With the rise of mental health awareness in our communities, the need for mental health resources also increased. In addition to yoga programming within partner facilities, Yoga 4 Change now offers free mental health resources to the general public including a YouTube Channel that houses yoga, meditations, and breathing techniques for youth, teens, and adults, and weekly virtual and in-person community classes. In early 2021, Yoga 4 Change also launched a pilot Alumni Program to build stronger relationships within our communities.
