We invite interested funders to join this all-important effort to support educational attainment for City of Miami residents.
The Venture Miami Scholarship Program is made possible from a generous allocation from the City of Miami as well as nearly $4 million in matching dollars collectively provided by Miami Dade College, Florida International University, Florida Memorial University, University of Miami, St. Thomas University, Nova Southeastern University, Barry University, and the seven Vocational Technical Colleges of Miami-Dade County Public Schools over the first two years of the program. The Miami Foundation is responsible for managing all facets of the scholarship's funding and execution.
The Venture Miami Scholarship Fund provides tuition support through gap funding for at-need City of Miami residents who have been accepted into STEM or defined demand occupation programs at participating colleges and universities, which currently includes Florida International University, Florida Memorial University, Miami-Dade College, and the University of Miami.
