Student Veterans of America at FIU is a school organization that supports Veterans in their transition from military service to higher education and civilian life. SVA works closely with the Veteran and Military Affairs Office at FIU to empower veterans by connecting them to educational resources, professional development opportunities, and a nationwide network of Veteran organizations.
SVA's mission focuses on creating a meaningful and inspiring community to advocate for Veterans' access to higher education, ensuring they have the tools to succeed in their academic and professional pursuits. They offer scholarships, leadership development programs, and resources aimed at enhancing Veterans' academic success, mental health, and career readiness.
