When we moved to Miami in August 2024, one of the first venues we visited was our local library (pictured above) to get new library cards and stock up on books. Since then, we have been regular visitors at the Coconut Grove, Virrick Park and Coral Gables branches. We are grateful for the books, crafts, peace and quiet and new skills we pick up at our library branches.
The Library is one of the last public spaces in which ANYONE and EVERYONE is free to just be and not buy. You can check out books, access tutoring, take language classes, go to story time, and enjoy literally thousands of programs every year - all for free.
But, the library isn't free to run and could use your help!
