Gabi for Fanm Saj - Youth Leadership Board

Fanm Saj is an organization I have been part of for the past five years, and I am continually amazed by their deep commitment to the community and their dedication to raising the next generation of circle keepers and organizers. Their work is rooted in care, culture, and collective healing, and it has shaped me in ways I will always carry.

Through their circles and trainings, I have received so much support and learned how to lead with intention, hold space for community healing, and show up with integrity. Last year, I was lucky to take part in the We Got Us Summit, which was truly motivational, being surrounded by people who care for one another, share resources, and show up for community was powerful. These circles have helped me connect more deeply with others and build community through art, storytelling, and vulnerability.

Being part of Fanm Saj has taught me that healing can be individual, but most importantly, it is collective. I feel empowered knowing that we can make real change in each other’s lives by showing up, organizing, and practicing healing that is authentic to who we are.

My Give Miami Day goalMy goal is to raise $250 to support youth training in Restorative Justice to help nurture the next generation of circle keepers, leaders, and organizers who will continue building community rooted in care and justice.
