As the Event Coordinator for MJD Wellness & Community Center, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the heart of our mission up close — the families we serve, the lives we touch, and the community we uplift through every program and event we organize. Whether it’s our annual Health & Wellness Festival, our outreach days, or the countless resources we connect people to, every moment reminds me why this work matters.

At MJD, we believe that accessible, compassionate healthcare is not a luxury — it’s a right. Too many individuals face barriers to basic care, mental health support, screenings, food assistance, or health education. Our organization stands in that gap, making sure people receive the help, dignity, and advocacy they deserve.
