Webber Druckerman for Young Musicians Unite

This year, I'm giving back to Young Musicians Unite because of everything they have given me and so many other young people across Miami.  I really hope you'll help me support them for Give Miami Day!

I've been playing music with YMU for the last three years - each one has been better and more enriching than the one prior.  I've seen from the inside how they grow and support arts programming in schools, and help develop a love and appreciation for music in young people . Sammy & Zach - YMU's founders - have not only helped me develop my musicianship, but they've also inspired me to pay it forward by supporting and collaborating with other young musicians.

A little bit about me:

Favorite YMU ensemble: Jazz Collective (obviously)

Favorite YMU ensemble that's not my own: Undercover

Favorite YMU event: Gala!

YMU Core Memory: Kigali Residency 26

Here's a little bit about this fantastic and dedicated organization:

YMU believes every child deserves access to high-quality music education, regardless of socioeconomic background. Through partnerships with schools and community organizations, YMU provides free music education that inspires personal growth, strengthens communities, and prepares the next generation of leaders.

As Florida’s largest provider of free music education, YMU delivers in-school and after-school programs to Title I schools throughout Miami-Dade County, reaching more than 16,200 students each week across 106 public schools.

Every gift brings them closer to their goal of raising $3 million to expand YMU’s impact to 23,000 students across 155 schools by the 2027–2028 school year.

Join me in supporting YMU’s mission to keep music education free and accessible for all. 🎶❤️
