Fuel the Future: Supporting CCP Scholars

In the heart of South Miami-Dade, 100 farmworker students are dreaming big — and the College and Career Prep (CCP) program is helping them turn those dreams into reality.

Run by the Mexican American Council, CCP is more than just tutoring and test prep. It’s a lifeline. It’s college counseling for first-generation students. It’s job training for teens who want to support their families. It’s STEM and arts exposure for youth who’ve never stepped foot in a lab or theater. It’s social-emotional learning that builds confidence, resilience, and hope.

CCP wraps students and their families in support — academically, emotionally, and professionally — so they can graduate high school prepared for college, technical certification, or a meaningful career. Every workshop, every SAT prep session, every family engagement meeting is a step toward breaking cycles of poverty and unlocking opportunity.
