Giuli's Fundraiser for CWS

I am proud to advocate for CWS and fundraise on their behalf. I have seen firsthand the joy and vital support that CWS has and continues to provide to refugees and families across Miami. 

CWS Shows up in ways that are essential, but often, unseen by others:

Helping when a family does not know to navigate health insurance and providing detailed orientations so that families can understand the system and what to do. Connecting people with vital resources, ESOL classes, and care. Hosting art and music therapies for vulnerable families to heal. Giving food donations. Providing free or discounted Immigration Legal Services with professionals that prioritize people over profit. And what I think is most important, giving people a sense of safety and community. The knowledge they are not alone at a time when they need it most.

As a volunteer-turned-employee of two years, I know that every contribution makes a difference. If you have a little extra to give, I ask that you consider donating to CWS, a nonprofit that has been part of South Florida for over 60 years and has played an essential role in helping refugees and local families find stability, dignity, and hope.
