Join Mirian in Supporting MUJER Inc.

This Give Miami Day, MUJER (Mujeres Unidas en Justicia, Educación y Reforma) is hoping to raise $50,000 — and I’ve set a personal goal of raising $1,000 to support their mission. I’m reaching out because this cause means a lot to me, and I know many of you care deeply about helping families in our community.

MUJER provides free, life-saving services to people experiencing abuse. Their work truly changes — and protects — lives. One survivor, JG, came to MUJER after barely escaping a violent attack. Today, she’s alive, healing, and using her voice to help others because she found support when she needed it most.

MUJER also stands by families seeking justice. VR, a mother whose daughter was abused, fought relentlessly to hold the perpetrator accountable. With MUJER’s guidance and strength beside her, she succeeded — and he is now serving 20 years in prison.

And MUJER’s compassion extends to the youngest survivors. Two little boys who experienced sexual abuse are now receiving therapy and care through MUJER — including the Heroes program — and are finally beginning to heal.

This is why MUJER matters. This is why I’m asking for your help.
