Family, friends, and colleagues - 

One of my greatest passions is to better the lives of the disenfranchised and ensure that they have meaningful representation and access to justice. This year, I joined the Board of Directors of the Florida Justice Institute (FJI), an award-winning nonprofit, public interest law firm that uses impact litigation and advocacy to improve the lives of Florida's disenfranchised residents and underinvested communities, while focusing on preserving human rights in the justice system, empowerment for vulnerable populations experiencing homelessness and poverty, providing dignity and access for people with disabilities, and related civil rights issues.

This Give Miami Day, I'm asking for your donation to support FJI's mission - something that is more important than ever given the mounting civil rights and socioeconomic challenges that disenfranchised residents and underinvested communities face across Florida.
