I recently joined the Board of Florida Foster Care Review (FFCR), and the more I’ve learned about FFCR’s work, the more I’ve seen how essential it is for children in foster care here in Miami-Dade.
FFCR steps in where the system often falls short, making sure each child’s case is reviewed thoroughly, their needs are identified, and their path to safety and stability is never overlooked. Behind every review is a child who deserves a nurturing family, a secure home, and the opportunity to thrive.
For more than 35 years, FFCR’s volunteers and staff have provided consistent advocacy and hope for thousands of children in our community.
