Since 1969, the South Florida Wildlife Center has been caring for native wildlife across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.
We are an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that relies entirely on the generosity of donors. We receive no government funding and are not affiliated with any agency—your support is what makes our lifesaving work possible.
Every day, our team of certified veterinary, animal care, and education professionals rescues, rehabilitates, and releases injured and orphaned wildlife. We also educate the public about environmental issues and promote peaceful coexistence between people and wildlife in our communities.
Our impact goes beyond animal care. We provide educational programs for local schools, community organizations, and youth programs, and we train law enforcement, fire rescue, and other municipal agencies in wildlife rescue.
Your generosity allows us to continue saving lives, educating the community, and protecting Florida’s wildlife.
