Every day in our community, there are people fighting overwhelming battles alone—immigrant families, trafficking survivors, veterans, children, and vulnerable neighbors who have nowhere else to turn.
CABA Pro Bono Legal Services steps into that gap with compassion and action.
And this mission is deeply personal to me.
For nearly two decades, I’ve had the privilege of serving Miami’s legal community, listening to the stories people rarely tell out loud—stories of fear, hope, courage, and resilience. I’ve seen what happens when someone gets access to justice for the first time. I’ve seen how one helping hand can change an entire family’s future.
That is why I give my heart to this work.
That is why CABA Pro Bono matters.
We provide free legal services to those who are often overlooked—people who deserve safety, dignity, and the chance to rebuild their lives.
But we cannot do it without support.

Help Expand Legal Advocacy and Provide Free Legal Services to Those in Need
CABA Pro Legal Services was established by the Cuban American Bar Association's (CABA) Board of Directors in 2007 as a separate 501(c)(3) entity, with eyes set on assisting low-income community members in South Florida by providing them with legal representation in several underserved practice areas.
CABA Pro Bono Legal Services has a dedicated legal staff of 31 legal professionals, including 15 staff attorneys, across two offices in Miami, and a network of hundreds of volunteer attorneys committed to providing free legal assistance to those most at risk in Florida. Our organization serves thousands of clients annually, including human trafficking survivors, foster children, veterans, domestic violence survivors, immigrant children as well as neurodivergent individuals and their families.
CABA Pro Bono Legal Services is unique in that it provides holistic services for its clients to help them get back on their feet and reduce the likelihood of victimization once their legal dispute is resolved. This approach goes above and beyond what other organizations provide.
Our Mission
The CABA Pro Bono Legal Services Team is committed to effecting positive change in the lives of children, individuals and families in need through legal advocacy. Our team achieves this by offering free, direct legal assistance for civil legal matters to low-income Florida residents- regardless of race, creed, color, gender, sexual orientation or national origin.
