Support South Florida’s Voice of Conservation and help us Sustain Conservation Advocacy

$450

raised by 8 people

$5,000 goal

As a former Youth Ambassador and current volunteer with Tropical Audubon Society, I am thrilled to show and share my support for this organization on Give Miami Day!

The Tropical Audubon Society is known as "South Florida's Voice of Conservation" for a reason.  Tropical Audubon has been on the frontlines of environmental protection for decades — standing strong against contamination of our drinking water, defending the Urban Development Boundary, and advocating for the protection of Endangered Species and the preservation of our region’s Globally Critically Imperiled Pine Rockland habitat. As the official local chapter of National Audubon, they are among Miami’s most esteemed non-profit environmental organizations.

Your gift will support crucial local conservation efforts, help us expand the “Plants for Birds” initiatives, count birds for science,  grow the award-winning “Tropical Audubon Ambassador” education program, and help advocate for Everglades restoration and Biscayne Bay health.

I have been photographing the birds on Ransom Everglades' campuses for the past year. Donors will receive a magnet ($25 donation), the "Birds of Ransom Everglades" 2025-2026 desk calendar ($50 donation) or the "Birds of Ransom Everglades" wall calendar ($100 donation) featuring the birds who call our school their home.
