The Renovation of Toy Library’s outreach bus

We are raising funds to renovate the 40-foot outreach bus that was generously gifted to us. This bus will soon become the heart of our mobile Toy Library, traveling throughout Miami-Dade County to bring toys, books, and creative learning experiences directly into neighborhoods. Once complete, it will give children a safe place to play, learn, and imagine, while giving parents the chance to connect and build community. Our outreach will focus on serving families in low to moderate income areas, including communities where many live below the poverty line and have limited access to high-quality educational resources.

To date, we have received more than 4,000 in in-kind donations to help equip and furnish the bus, and our partnerships continue to grow. We are working alongside other nonprofits to create a greater impact together. This includes TNT, an organization dedicated to helping children with disabilities experience the joy of sports. We also partner with Operation Christmas Child, which delivers toys to over 170 countries, reaching children who may otherwise never receive a gift. Additionally, we are collaborating with Sow Mission to ship a container filled with school supplies, toys, and essential items to Malawi and other countries across Africa, extending our reach to families in need around the world.

The Toy Library bus is not just a renovation is a movement of hope, unity, and opportunity. It represents our commitment to bridge the financial gap by giving all families access to high-quality educational toys and materials that inspire learning and creativity. Every stop we make will give children the chance to dream bigger and parents the reassurance that their community cares.

This bus is only the beginning of a much larger plan. Our vision is to establish a permanent Toy Library building which will serve as a community center open to all. It will offer a warm and welcoming indoor place space where families can bring their children completely free of charge. Inside, there will be toy lending programs, reading corners, learning workshops, and family activities that strengthen relationships and encourage growth. It will be a place filled with love and learning and a love of learning, turning our next generation into life long learners and the next pioneers of our future. It is a space that  belongs to all; it belongs to you. 

The Toy Library not only delivers toys and educational materials, it also delivers hope to thousands of families. We are creating a future where every child, regardless of background, has access to the tools that help them learn and thrive. With your support we will be able to complete the renovation of the 40-foot bus and expand our programs across Miami and southern Florida.
