As I approach my third year working at Youth Co-Op, I often think about how proud I am to be part of a team that truly changes lives. Working in IT, my role might be behind the scenes, but every project, every problem solved, and every system I help keep running connects directly to our mission to promote the social well-being of Florida youth and families through education, employment, and empowerment.
What I love most about my job is knowing that the work I do helps support the people who are out there making a difference everyday teaching, guiding, and empowering others to build better futures. Technology keeps everything moving, and I take pride in knowing that my efforts help the organization run smoothly so our staff can focus on what really matters: helping individuals grow, find meaningful employment, and gain confidence in themselves.
I believe deeply in our mission because I’ve seen the impact it has on the hope it brings to families, the opportunities it creates for youth, and the sense of community it builds. At Youth Co-Op, we don’t just talk about change we make it happen, one person at a time.
