A stronger Miami begins with access to education—and with nonprofit organizations equipped to serve their communities effectively.

During the 2025–2026 academic year, VACC Foundation awarded 10 scholarships totaling $5,000 to students at Miami Dade College West Campus. Each recipient received $500 in direct educational assistance. These students, who have ties to the Venezuelan-American community, are pursuing careers in fields including veterinary medicine, law, dietetics, psychology, criminal justice, industrial engineering, physical therapy, and business marketing.

Our impact also extends to the nonprofit organizations working every day to strengthen Miami. Through our Alliance program, VACC Foundation has supported 12 nonprofits connected to our Miami-based network by providing access to educational resources, fundraising and compliance training, grant and fellowship opportunities, strategic relationships, networking, and increased visibility.

Participating nonprofits have benefited from connections and opportunities involving The Miami Foundation, the Urban League, Operation HOPE, Santander Bank, PortMiami, Inter Miami CF, Banesco, and other community partners. Their initiatives have also been amplified through Chamber newsletters, GivingTuesday communications, networking events, and the “Gente que Emprende” radio program.

This Give Miami Day, we aim to raise $20,000 to expand both areas of impact.

Your gift can help:

• $50 provide educational and outreach resources.

• $250 support a capacity-building workshop or technical assistance session.

• $500 provide one student scholarship.

• $1,000 provide two student scholarships.
