The Way Forward's mission is to enhance the quality of life for those living with paralysis. We believe all people with paralysis can live an active and independent life. 

As you know, this organization, dedicated to enhancing the lives of those affected by spinal cord injuries and paralysis, has been a significant part of my journey. Since 2011, The Way Forward formally the Woody Foundation has expanded its impact, introducing initiatives like the Wheel Scholarship program for higher education, sponsorship of para-athletes in partnership with the Lifetime Miami Marathon, and the ongoing distribution of free Adaptive Packs across the United States, among many other initiatives.

Through Give Miami Day we want to ignite our mission and expand our reach in our local community. Will you join the cause? Your support, regardless of the amount, can help sustain our vision to help all people with paralysis to live an active and independent life.

I have the privilege of sitting in board meetings and witnessing firsthand the amazing work this foundation does for individuals living with spinal cord injuries. To date, The Way Forward Foundation has donated over $1 million dollars to partner organizations, individuals, scholarships, and more, helping to enhance lives and give hope.

Can I give this amount by myself? Sure! But the real goal is to spread awareness about the incredible work this foundation does.
