Global Shapers Miami is a platform of diverse leaders mobilizing their collective human capital to address local challenges and issues. GSM accomplishes this by collaborating with community partners to design sustainable solutions and achieve measurable outcomes. Our current focus is cancelling medical debt for millions of South Floridians who are struggling to afford basic food and shelter while also paying off expensive treatment costs.
The best part of fundraising for this cause is that eligible families do not have to apply- aid is automatically given to folks earning less than 4x the federal poverty level or whose debts are 5% or more of annual income.
This means that your money will go directly to where it is needed most.
Furthermore, any money you donate November 15-20 will be supplemented proportionally by the Miami Foundation.
