I joined FJI as the Intake Coordinator in May of this year, and in just a short time, this work has deeply changed the way I see justice, advocacy, and community.

From my very first day, I was welcomed into a team of passionate, dedicated people who fight every single day for those whose voices are too often ignored. Everyone here at FJI is united by a shared purpose: to challenge systems of inequality and to stand up for the rights of disenfranchised and vulnerable groups.

As intake coordinator, I am often the first point of contact for individuals who turn to us in moments of crisis or uncertainty. Through this role, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the incredible impact of our collective efforts. I've seen ideas turn into action, lawsuits turn into class actions, and individuals get treatment they wouldn't otherwise have received.
