Connecting Minds Project Miami

Eco Planet Earth is proud to partner with Connecting Minds Project Miami, a sister organisation of the award-winning Connecting Minds Project Northern Ireland. Together, we blend environmental education with art, mindfulness, and cultural exchange to empower young people and older generations to grow peace both within themselves and their communities.

Rooted in the story of Northern Ireland’s Tree of Peace and Reconciliation, where two separate trees grew into one, our partnership brings this living symbol of unity to life across underserved communities in Coconut Grove and Coral Gables. Through creative, intergenerational workshops, we connect youth and ageing residents to share stories, co-create art, and reflect on shared values of compassion, resilience, and care for the planet.

Through the development of Reflection Gardens, young people and elders collaborate to design and plant spaces that honour both cultural identity and ecological mindfulness. These gardens become living symbols of connection that link Miami with Northern Ireland and celebrate the power of creativity to heal and unite.
