Youth Development - Shine Bright Afterschool

Help Every Child Shine Bright!

At Prosperity Social and Community Development Group (PSCDG), our Afterschool and Summer Programs support elementary and middle school students for whom English is a second language. Hosted at Arch Creek Elementary, North Miami Library, and North Miami Middle School, our programs provide a safe, nurturing space for learning and growth.

Students receive academic support, literacy instruction in their native languages, and opportunities to build confidence and social skills through STEM projects, art, cooking, and swimming lessons. We’ve also encouraged stronger family involvement through parent nights and community events, helping parents stay engaged in their children’s success.

Last year, we served over 200 students, with 80% showing academic improvement and increased self-confidence.
